Did you know 2022 is the year for all of our Illinois Instructors to renew their licenses? With 2023 coming up for our Licensed Estheticians up for renewal. So how do you keep your licenses active in the state of Illinois? Well, Illinois licenses expire every odd year and must be renewed by the expiration date in order to remain active. In order to renew your license, you must complete the required continuing education hours for your specific license. We have all the requirements listed below.

Simply register for the course and complete it anywhere that is convenient for you. We have online CEU hours that are easy to work through, as well as in person to fulfill your continued education hours
Renewal Requirements for Estheticians:
10 HOURS EVERY ODD YEAR
(RENEWAL BY SEPTEMBER 30TH OF EVERY ODD YEAR)
5 CAN BE ONLINE SELF-STUDY.
Renewal Requirements for Estheticians Instructors:
20 HOURS;
(RENEWAL BY SEPT 30TH OF EVERY ODD YEAR)
10 CAN BE SELF-STUDY.
Renewal Requirements for Illinois Cosmetologists:
14 HOURS EVERY 2 YEARS
(RENEWAL BY 9/30 OF EACH ODD YEAR)
7 CAN BE SELF-STUDY.

24 HOURS EVERY 2 YEARS -
OF WHICH 10 HOURS ARE IN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY
AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY
DUE BY SEPTEMBER 30TH EVERY EVEN YEAR.
7 CAN BE SELF-STUDY.
