  • You will get to perform your first treatment on a live model in the class, with every step supervised by a master eyebrow artist.

  • You get ongoing support from your trainer so you do not feel left alone including a shadow day, & touch up your model together.

  • You get a course that is Approved by the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools of the Illinois Board of Higher Education. This ensures that we set and maintain standards at the highest level.

ON GOING SUPPORT

We know students need support which is why you are asked to shadow us during a typical work day. You are also encouraged to book your client 6 weeks out so we can go over your healed work.

NO MODEL SHARING

Your model in class will be your client here on out. We do not model share ever in class! You work your own model from start to finish. Your instructor will be with you at all times so you feel confident to work on skin.

COURSE 
DESCRIPTION

The Intro to Microblading Training Course is a 3-day intensive designed to introduce you to the world of microblading and shading so that you may become a working microblading artist. This comprehensive class is taught by owner & trainer Lisa Pizzello. You will learn all aspects of microblading, from profiling clients to drawing eyebrows to consent forms. You will leave this class confident and eager to practice and master your craft.

 

  • Class is limited to 2 students for proper individualized attention.

Treatments by licensed and insured technicians are charged at between $300 and $1000, depending upon skill and demographic. There’s no huge investment in equipment or materials other than preparing your treatment area. It’s also a treatment that can make a lasting difference to clients with damaged, over-plucked, or badly shaped brows and it can bring a huge amount of job satisfaction.

In theory, you don’t need to be qualified to perform microblading but, in practice, you won’t be able to get a license for your premises or treatment insurance if you do not have proper training. Performing the treatment while unlicensed and uninsured leaves you exposed to legal action and it is, at the least, irresponsible, to carry out any invasive treatment with lasting effects, if you have not had the proper training.

How is Microblading different than

Machine Tattooing (MICROSHADING/OMBRÉ BROWS)?

​

Microblading is not the same as cosmetic tattooing carried out using a machine. Microblade strokes lightly score the surface layers of the skin (Epidermis) while machine tattoos penetrate into the deeper layers (Dermis). The surface layers are renewed over time, so microblade strokes will naturally fade while pigment implanted by a machine will remain deep in the skin. Microblading therefore can be a semi-permanent makeup technique. Follow-up appointments will be necessary to maintain the full effect.

  • An initial deposit of $750 must be made at the time of registration. This amount will be applied to the cost of the class. 

 

  • The deposit made at registration is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be credited. The deposit will only be refunded if the class is canceled on our end.

  • Your remaining balance will be due on the first day of class. When using a credit/debit card, a 4% fee will be incurred. Cash is suggested with no fee.
